Hej,

jak podsumować w kilku zdaniach 13 lat totalnego niebieskiego rollercoastera? nie wiem 🙂 przede mną kolejne wyzwanie jak stworzyć najbardziej zrównoważoną markę sportową na świecie w oparciu o strategie: environmental impact, circulation economy, social impact oraz regenerative future. Chciałbym przede wszystkim podziękować ludziom, którzy byli świadkami moich porażek i sukcesów:

Congratulations Radek for this new responsibility!

Radek has been leading our sustainability axis here in Poland for the past 4 years. He managed to gather a strong team around a clear project and delivered with them a lot of valuable achievements to drive Decathlon Poland toward a better sustainable approach. We can remember the first initiatives launched for new circular services, the signature of the PPA to reach 100% certified „green” energy for the stores and warehouse, the initiatives for ecomobility as the fleet made available for our teammates or the eco-charger on our parking to turn km into eco-kim, the 3.4 ha of forest planted with the involvement of more than 100 teammates or the centralized management of wastage for a better efficiency and costs reduction. In 2023, the CO2 emission for Decathlon Poland reduced by 20.56% compared to 2022.

I am convinced that your experience for sustainability, your strong conviction and positivity for a better change will be important assets to support and drive the sustainability project for the Eastern Europe Zone.
