Almost three years ago, I embarked on a journey with Decathlon, driven by the mission to build a data team and foster data-driven culture among all Decathlonians. I am really proud of what we have accomplished with the team so far.  Our mission is ongoing and it is a journey for every team member.

Personally, I have always been deeply passionate about using the power of data to understand our customers better and help  them in their sports journey by providing best in class customer experience.

I am really pleased that I will now have the opportunity to join my two passions, data and customer growth and am eagerly looking forward to stepping into the new position.  I am immensely grateful for the trust and confidence placed in me by DG.  This role is more than just a new position; it’s an opportunity to make a substantial impact on our business success and to advance our company’s mission in significant ways.

I also extend my gratitude to Wojciech Zięba, who introduced me to Decathlon and has supported my development over the past two years.

Ania is not just an employee, but also an undeniable expert in the field of data. Her three years of commitment, innovation, and invaluable contribution have been a key period for the development of Decathlon Poland. Her efforts have revolutionized the way we perceive and use data, resulting in significant growth for our company. Ania has built a strong team that now effectively carries out tasks for us and other markets in our part of Europe. Her appointment as Data and Customer Growth Officer is the natural consequence of her excellent skills and continuous commitment. I am fully confident that she will continue her exceptional work, bringing us further success and growth.

Ania welcome to the Commercial Team. I’m glad that you have taken on this extremely important mission – the combination of customer knowledge, customer base enlargement and, through the use of data and analytics, maintaining and increasing the value of this base. The future of our brand lies in getting to know our customers and guaranteeing them the best possible experience in the Decathlon ecosystem – I’m sure you are the best person to achieve this goal.
